Reality SUCKS: METAL DAY EDITION

11/11/11 - METAL DAY! Talk about a killer show. First up I was given a good lot of listeners as DJ BEASTY did a 4(?) hour drive-by before I hit the airwaves. Thank you KK. Always good to go on after you. Lots of good requests, from a lot of people. Metal BROTHER DJ ZED got us going with some requested CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED. DJ ROCK, DJ BEASTY, TIMMMAH, and BLUE BEARD sent in requests all night as well. JIMMY K stopped into the studio for some hang time, and made some requests too. Visits from EROTIC JESUS and K0WPYE made the evening that much more kickass. Without all of YOU the show would not have been nearly as awesome.

1. I'm a HUGE Chimaira fan. One of my fave bands since I discovered them in 2004. I have mixed feelings on this announcement. I want them all to do well and support their decisions. Its not my place to say much as I'm no more than a fan - but I hope the name Chimaira represents the way it has the last 8 years into the future. Good luck to Matt, Rob, Mark, Jim, Andols, and Spicuzza. You guys certainly made your mark in metal and I hope you do for many years to come. FUCK YOUR POWER TRIP! \M/
3. Lemmy has a busted hand and had to cancel a couple shows. I joked on the show "I wonder how Lemmy busted his left hand eh? Tossin it?!? Wait. This is FUCKING LEMMY! He was punching someone in the face. He was ripping open a bottle of whisky." There isn't a more metal guy on the planet than Lemmy.
4. Rhianna samples Metallica. IMAGINE THAT.
5. LA school invites PORN QUEEN to READ BOOKS to FIRST GRADERS then covers up scandal when parents find out. IMAGINE THAT
